About Me

Hello and welcome, I'm entirely flattered that you wanted to know a little bit about me... I hope I don't disappoint! First and foremost, I'm a mother to an amazing little boy whom is completely obsessed with the wild and precocious antics of Calvin and Hobbes, I blame my husband for that! Oh and while we're on the subject of my husband, we've been each other’s best friend and partner in crime for about 13 years now and I'm pretty darn lucky that he completely adores me! I'm not exactly sure how that ever happened, but I'm just going with it.

Aside from my love of photography and passion for documenting lives, I'm just a regular down-to-earth kind of girl. I'm a bit of a daydreamer and I'll readily admit that I'm complete girly girl, but in my eyes those aren't necessarily bad qualities! Yes, that means I'll need to bring a box of Kleenex if we go to some sappy movie together. And yes, I'll probably need consoling after it's all over, but I'll totally pay for drinks afterwards! Oh and I'm a hugger so beware! You should also know that I love people who can make me laugh, those with exceptionally kind hearts and people whom are passionate and love life as much as I do. If you're one of those, we'll become fast and forever friends!

As far as how I got into photography, it’s surprisingly something I stumbled upon once my son was born. However, I can proudly say that I haven't looked back since and I can't imagine doing anything else for the rest of my life. Before finding my passion for photography, I was pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Social Work. I've always had a heart for helping people, so I'm thrilled that I'm able to unite my passion for both!
